Here are a few things recommended for our group:

John Paul the Great Home Educators (JPGHE): Many of our families belong to this group. Among many other things, the St. Joseph's Day (SJD) group which is on Thursdays in the basement of our building. SJD is for kids up to 4th grade.

Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA): They have it all. If you home-school and you're not a member, you should probably look into it. In addition to peace of mind, they have on-line curriculum, diplomas, transcript creators, home-school IDs, and all kinds of discounts on home-school related items for members.

FREE Transcript Creator; Created by a mom and veteran homeschooler, Cindy Downes has a lot of helpful ideas for you - most of it FREE! One in particular that several of our moms have used is her free transcript creator. You fill in the blanks, hit submit, and create a PDF of your student's work. While you can't save and update the information, it is a great format and did we mention...FREE. As noted in our Who We Are page, our co-op does not keep any records of your student's grades or class completion. We keep general attendance records for the co-op day, but not for individual classes.

For the homeschooler who takes the "5th Year Senior" option (an extra year of College Credit Plus classes), this transcript lists the classes by subject rather than year completed. This has been used by several families in the co-op and accepted at multiple universities within the state of Ohio.
